Every keepsake at Simplr is individually handcrafted of the finest materials, and it all starts off from this table.
We make it beautiful, all by hand.
A pair of German made drop-forged steel shears, a couple of bonefolders, a straight edge, a sharp blade, a big wooden table, a careful pair of hands, and so the crafting begins.
Nothing pleases us more than to see beautiful things. We combine great materials like Japanese silk, acid free boards, Canson papers, and more to make our keepsakes both beautiful and lasting. We simply want your images to have a beautiful place to call home.
We appreciate your patience, it takes just a little longer. Measuring, cutting, gluing, mounting, wrapping, everything is crafted and finished by hand. Nothing is churned out from huge machines.
And so, beautiful things take a little more time.
My name is Jared, and I am a founder and binder at Simplr. It’s always nice to know a little about the people you work with, so here’s a little something about me:
I still recall the first keepsake I’ve ever made – a small 6’’x 8’’ flushmount album with portraits of my family gracing each page. I was so proud of that album, it was all done by my own two hands. The love for this art has not escape me and till this day, I personally hand craft most of the keepsakes here at Simplr.
I’m a proud dad of two and with my loving wife, Kennes, ran Simplr which started in 2010 in a little room turned bindery in our home. We’ve since moved out to a dedicated bindery. On most days, I ride my little foldable bicycle to work.
I thank the Lord daily for this passion and certainly hope that every album, box, folio & print that reaches you puts a smile on you and your client.
