Merci beaucoup to the gorgeous Sokebana (Sophie Le Droumaguet) who is now featuring the Artisan Keepsake Box and Artisan Folios for her wedding and portrait packages! Sophie includes a photobook style album (which we do not carry) as her offering, but missing that finishing touch which would give it that ‘WOW!’ effect. So we’ve created a custom size Artisan Keepsake Box which will perfectly fit her album. The Artisan Folios add a finishing touch which complements her entire package. Sophie’s Artisan Keepsake Box is covered with the gorgeous Teal Canvas Premium Japanese fabric. Her folios are Dark Chocolate Shangtung and Ocha Green Shangtung. Sophie has loads more images of the Artisan Series. View her original post here or visit Sophie’s site at Sokebana.net.
Thanks to the awesome Chloe Lodge who blogged about the Artisan Folios! Chloe is a fascinating photographer (where on our second encounter, chatted for almost 3 hours!!), from studying Arts in France to being the right hand woman of Bear Grylls (yup, that’s right, that insanely adventurous bloke in Man Vs. Wild) whom I had the pleasure to meet. Catch up with Chloe by checking out her website here or read the original post here.
All the way from the beautiful island of Borneo, Kamaruz Photography blogged about our precious Artisan Folio! Thanks Sony! (Yup, that’s his name, pretty cool, doncha’ think).
Ahhhh France. Romance in the air, architecture which can only be described as majestic, a history of art that dates so far back, when it began is anyone’s guess. We’re so thrilled when one of the France’s best photographer, Jacques Mateos of Magic Flight Studio blogged about the Artisan Folios. View the original post at Jacques’ site here (note: it’s in french).
“(S)he’s very forward thinking…” were the exact words used to describe Asther of Asther Lau Photography by one of Malaysia’s most notable female photographer. She has carved a niche for herself which has made her one of the most well known photographer capturing pregnancy, baby and family portraits. It’s pretty awesome that Asther has announced her new offering for 2012, and it is special. Asther’s Artisan Keepsake Box not only features a custom size, but exclusive fabric imported for her studio. I have to admit, I personally am in love with these boxes. They take several hours of measuring, cutting and crafting, but the effort is totally worth it. Inspired by album makers from the USA, these beautiful boxes were nowhere to be seen or found in this region. I’m so excited to be the first to offer these boxes to photographers who are in search for something more than albums. I’ve made so many, but never got around to making one for my family. So perhaps the next round, that would be something to look forward to. I’ll be sure to post up some images of those. You’d think a box like this would only be suitable for weddings, but they make excellent keepsakes for family portraits too. They’re acid-free, which means with proper storage conditions, they’ll likely outlast the current generation. If you’d like to find out more about these gorgeous boxes, feel free to visit the Simplr website or if...Read More >
Having still the photographer’s blood running in me, I couldn’t help but grab a picture of this. Just for kicks, I nicknamed it the Leaning Tower of Artisan. No matter how many folios I make, it always is a joy whenever the folios start to take shape (numerous paper cuts aside). The final touches of having the names imprinted is my absolute favourite. It is when just another folio now become someone’s folio. Next, ribbon, vellum, tag, and ribbon again, and off it goes! Visit the Artisan Folio page here.
